Yea was gonna flush it n change filter after 3-500m but it’s shredded direct and forward frictions to metal so everything covered in black sludgy grinding paste n been to deep clean! 100% found fault though so kinda pleased apart from the extra bill, no pump pressure without that screen located so surprised it drove at all, no idea how I missed locating pin!?! confident gonna work this time :)

IT IS ALIVE!!! :D:p:cool:
Changes a bit lumpy but no slipping at all even on kickdown doing 65 and needs adaptions reset, daft key thing does nowt! Anyone know what diagnostics will do a proper reset? Had her on autologic last time n option was there but done nowt when lad hit the button...... wasn’t sure that direct piston was gonna be ok after having it in and out without the proper tool but no slipping at all 4-5th n she drives like a dream!!

Well done, respect to you sir.:D

Keep waiting for her (zoobie) reg is ZWB, to explode or fall to bits or suddenly just start slipping her tits off and shudder to a halt but done 70m now n not had adaptions reset yet but getting better all the time! In both instances I caught my frictions before started shredding metal filings so was just black sludge to clean but think if u had one driven to death and was shards of metal in there would want to change pistons, however that said it’s been a mission on ramps outside in the dark and rain but for me physically removing and reinstalling the box was by far the hardest part of job after I have scraped my soul up off the floor, I’ve been held up by weather and money n mistakes but if yr game n fairly handy and do it as soon as you notice it slipping rather than drive it to death thinking about 3k bills n trying to stretch it out job could easily be done in a weekend for £700 if u had parts there, I paid £1800 for truck with known gearbox issue even after my misplaced pin that cost me £200 and loads more time got a fairly clean truck with a fresh rebuilt box and torque converter for £2700 so apart from the 98 other jobs on her I now have space in my head for am a happy boy! Loads of folk tell me they want a Land Rover n first thing I tell them is owning one is a hobby n if yr not handy or rich don’t!! ;)
