Morning All,

Came across that fault code in Pscan yesterday due to MOT coming up and was wondering if it means the MAF it is done and will need a new one? It showed 19 degrees yesterday eve which was clearly wrong. I read in some threads here yesterday, but most seem to have the newer cheaper (cheaper in terms of changing) version separate from the MAF. It's about 1.5 years old only. Is there warranty on as it seems a bit short?

I've changed the MAF in the meantime for the cheap Chinese one and the old Bosch that I had still around and all gave me same error. Could there be something else causing the error as it's odd, that all three are giving me the same fault code?

You've probably already tried this but what are the contacts like on the connector?

Maybe just need a good clean.

Code P0110 refers to the intake air temperature sensor, which is combined with the MAF sensor in the same housing. So as suggested above, check the plug and wiring right back to the ECM.

Yes ok will do thank you.

Ok will measure through, thank you.

Sorry for the late reply. Had the car standing for a while due to that stupid Ulez and other things. I measured it through eventually and got results on the IAT wire which is

C0149 (plug on MAF) C0606
Pin 1 Pin 29

As I was on a long trip and the car started juddering after about 80km with complete loss of acceleration, then always came back, I measured also
Pin 4 Output Pin 1 and
Pin 5 Input Pin 2 also with results, all 0.8/0.9.
As roadside assistant came back with fault code P100 for MAF in general, the man said that the juddering could have well been from the MAF and after deleting the fault code it didn't come back and the juddering stopped. Only the IAT was left.
I have also checked the contacts and they looked nice and coppery. What I noticed when taking a picture of it was that they looked a bit apart. I have tried to squeeze them a bit together and the IAT code and the other one disappeared so far. There wwas also a fault code on the Jatco P1685 which I have deleted and couldn't see it come back. Will test drive and see how it goes. Will see if the codes will come back. Tried to find the plug to change but couldn't so far.

Thanks for your input again.

That's interesting. I've just changed that plug for a spare i had and - fingers crossed - solved my MAFF problem. I'm pitching in because i had no idea the Pscan would give that kind of granular detail. It actually identified which pins on the plug were faulty?

No that was me measuring with a multimeter. Psan only gave me those two fault codes and I went in to find the pins on the plug relating to which one on the ECM plug. as I knew a problem with the IAT I tried to find out which one is which one. The circuits and bits I found on the Rave cd.

Ah, excellent. Thanks for getting back to me.
