Mine on there at the min is a Land Rover vatara one which is 850cca and 110 ah
I just found a varta silver dynamic I1 110ah and 920cca for £119.50 so I think I'll go for that Monday as that seems to be the best offer around
This thread, and the one by the other guy, have led me to a decision. From now on I'm not going to try to help when it comes to the battery on a Vogue and above. People can stick what they like in, because they just ignore the advice given. Even although that advice was hard learned.
It's just not worth it.

That’s the same spec as my Bosch s5 020, I wouldn’t fit anything less on my own car, it can be a pain getting the 020 in and out but worth it as others have pointed out

Howdy, Isn’t he putting in the battery spec you recommended or did I miss something ?

He is, eventually, because its " the best deal". Not because anything that was said by myself or others was deemed relevant.
Normally, it would probably pass, but two threads by two people , told by most of us who post regularly, which battery is required. The majority of posts by those who have much superior knowledge than myself. Those such as you, Ant, wammers, datatek, young Henry, etc and yet , in both cases the , asked for, advice was either argued against or ignored.
So from now on I'll leave it to those who don't mind banging their heads off brick walls.
Oh and Hi Andy, hope you're well ;)

@gold rover I just wish this had come up before I replaced my battery and I would have followed your advice and gone for the bigger one. Unfortunately in my case there wasn't much time for research.

I cannot fault Euros, bought my Bosch S5 020 from them, 3 weeks short of the 5yr warranty ending took it back as it wouldn't hold its charge and they just replaced it for me no questions asked.

Probably exactly the same as the Bosch battery but with a different sticker on it!
And a lot cheaper lol

I remember some of your epic threads, you have as much experience or more than the rest of us, all of us only know what we have learnt of each other by experience , the only difference is some of us are fortunate enough or dumb enough to own the tools and a place to use them :)
I’m ok Ma’am hope you are too.:)

I made sure it was the same as the one previously fitted. Of course that could also have been wrong.
