I thought might be the case. I have the icarsoft v2.0 which does basically everything I want, apart from the suspension calibration which I need to do at the moment. It’s a toss up between paying about £120 for it to be done by an indi (which I don’t like as I do all my own work) and paying £400 for the iid kit but how often will I use the additional function when I’m happy with the icarsoft v2.0?
Anybody convince me to pay the money for the iid kit? Where’s the Alcomms available from as well?
Cheers,
Andy.

Thanks for the offer Wazzajnr but if I buy one, I’d be looking to get one for my workshop.
Marion, I already own the icarsoft v2.0 so the cost of that isn’t offset against the cost of the iid. Also, it’s the v2.0 so is definitely not basic, I can do pretty much everything I need to, there’s just a couple of bits I can’t. I can also work on numerous years of Range Rover as well as defenders, discovery’s, RR sports and jaguars, and you don’t have to pay for separate licences, it’s all in the basic cost.
Cheers,
Andy.
Ah, apologies for misunderstanding. It’s been a long day today and misread your post mate.
Yeah, that was how I was thinking of it as well regarding the Indy, but then I wonder how many times I’d use that function (eas recalibration) so then it’s be £280 more that I’ll have paid without getting much benefit. Decision time!
OK fair enough. If you buy one and have any issues let me know although it's pretty straightforward to use.Again, thanks for the offer but if I’m buying something, I’ll be buying it for myself mate.
Cheers.
