iwould go with bob and put in a small tank. how far from barnsly are you gav?

not sure where to locate the heater, manual for it says low down, but i suppose anywhere lower than the highest point on the coolant circuit?

it also says upstream of the rad and downstream of the engine, will it be ok on the cab heater circuit?

as its rigged now the lpg vapouriser is inline with the engine and cab heater. i.e engine>>pump>>vap>>heater>>engine

will it be ok as engine>>pump>>webasto and pump>>vap>>heater>>engine.

exhaust and air intake is pretty straight forward, thinking of mounting the heater where the air box used to be, and reason why not?

dont want to put it where it can get water logged.

will i be ok to take the fuel from the return of the petrol lines, i could do without putting in another tank as i envisage it will use around 1 litre a week, so i dont want a litre of petrol sat in the engine bay!!!

if anyone has a fuel pump assy they can look at and tell me if the return goes 'almost to the bottom of the tank' as it says in the manual!

any other concerns??

except for my mental status:doh::doh::doh:

gav when i get chance i will go down the garage and have a look what we got in the bits box that will be of some use to you

your a star!

ive been thinking, instead of a heater would it be wise to fit an aga! that way i can get the butler to stoke it and do dinner aswell!

no gav don't do it.it would use to much fuel, therefore cancelling out the savings you would have made.:rolleyes:

Gav are you mad?? I dont even know what a Webasto is??

Basicly your bored an you think its a good idea to put a wataboo in your rangie so its nice an warm when you get in?? WTF if you need something to fill the time then come replace the blend motor on mine, so i can at least have warm air in these cold an wet times.:mil75::5bbeatdeadhorse5:

wabasto is a pre heater, not just for inside but it will stop the water in his gas freezeing, tis a great plan but not easy

ok no worries.

was trauling a scrappy this mornin, i found an eberspacher on a omega doozel. it was only a 500w tho, and doozel so i didn't take it off but i couldnt find the water pump.

the water pump and time are the only components i need now. for testing purposes i can get away withou the timer!!

they are on loads of cars and vans but its tricky to find em. The pumps are commonly called aux. Water or coolant pumps on audi, merc jag etc etc
