Hi, first time posting as new to site.
Purchased first Range Rover this week, a vogue tdv8. 2011
Have a few questions if that’s ok.
1. Can’t seem to get it to pair with my iPhone 14. Is this a Range Rover thing? Have they all got Bluetooth?
2. The passenger door step ( Lhd) won’t deploy) any ideas?
3. Door mirrors don’t seem to want to move in or out, both sides.
4. On driving home at about 120kph an intermittent knock ( from under my feet) about 4 or 5 times over 100km.
5. Cd charger won’t work.

As stated first time with range rovers so know very little, spent Half an hour today looking for the oil dip stick!
Car is going into local garage next week for check over, but would like to remedy some of the faults before it goes in.
Many thanks in advance bobg

Welcome to the club lad😎👍
This will be a great learning curve. 😎👍

As for the phone when you first switch ignition on it goes into pairing mod search on phone for range rover and code is 2121 it's in the hand book, side step is common problems either it's seized up or motor burnt out, mirrors don't auto fold you have to press the button on switch panel.

Welcome :).

Please explain more on your mirrors, do you mean they dont fold or dont operate from the switch, they are prone to getting water in the switch pack because of its position.
But mine auto fold on locking and fold on the button when engine running.
The dipstick dont exist it has to be done on the menu screen and there are a few conditions that have to be met before it will show up.

The step could be a few things as said seized up, burnt motor, or a dodgy electrical connector.

Your clunk could be anything really so you just need to give it a good look underneath. They are heavy beasts and prone to wearing suspension bushes which could give you a clunk.

Suggest you find an owners manual and read it.
good luck they are lovely motors.

Hi Guys, many thanks for your reply’s, now solved mirrors, didn’t realize there was a switch! Thought they were automatic.
The side step will have to wait until I have more time at the weekend.
Same as the cd charger, shame as in my Audi I just use Bluetooth to Spotify.i have now connected an mp3 via aux socket which will do for the moment
The phone still won’t pair, I don’t get anything on my phone and on the dash is as photo.
I am back in uk at the end of the month so will try to pick up an English user Manuel. The one I have is in German so of no use.
Thanks again I have no doubt I will have many more questions over the next few weeks!

Make sure that someone hasn't looped out the BT module. These cars can suffer water ingress in the boot and some of the modules get soaked and fail, some just fail. When they do it takes out the whole MOST bus and nothing works so a common fix is to fit a fibre loop to take the faulty module out and get everything else to work.

Fairly confident it's in the left side of the boot behind the panel but if your phone isn't finding "LAND ROVER" when you search for BT devices it's either not fitted or faulty. Being a 2011 car it will have had BT phone from the factory but as Kermit says, it's for calls and not for streaming music, none of the L322s can stream BT natively. There are aftermarket options for that of course.

A bit more detail here so at least you'll know where to have a quick look and see if it's disconnected.

Unit No.7 is the telephone module according to this diagram:

I've attached the full doc too.
