Is it adjustable then?

Start low, then wait for a pipe to blow off/leak then turn it back a bit :D

Edit 50psi is alot out of a hose. Are you sure your eyeballs are seeing it right?

As I said earlier I have no 👁️🦌

But I goggled and came up with this

So maybe it will be ok. the PSI seems to be the closed end pressure it cuts off and its the open flow you need.

Go for it:D.

Going to check psi rating for gas hot water system
If I run it though a smaller pipe first then into the system it should lower the pressure I'm thinking
The pump has a regulator for pressure so I'll turn that down
Should have a nice shower with that pump
Going for an underslung fresh water tank, above and just forward of the centre line of the axle :)

It is waaaay too hot for comfort. Even in the shade. Got 'er indoors car service done this morning, before the temperature got too high and it was in the shade. And being re-tyred, I have the rest of the day off - except for putting the bins out later.
This has stopped me doing the hen hut.
I'll have to get up extra early tomorrow morn to do it.

Morning All. :D
I have signed my life away on a new gas boiler (before they ban them) for >£5k.
Interestingly (or not, take your pick) my current Potterton 80e (24Kw) has run and still fine because it is only ever run at 50% of max. This has helped it last 35 years already. :)
The new "Combi" is warranted for 12 years and is 40Kw and I am hoping to extend its life with the same M.O.
I doubt the alleged 20-35% "savings" with a combi will even pay for the boiler in its lifetime, so I am questioning my sanity here. :(
Anyway, have a lovely day! :D
I am currently hoping that I can fix the electrical problem(s) with ours when I get home and that we don't end up having to get a new one.

I do wonder if it ain't bust why you are looking to fix it? Or swap it out? Especially with the economic argument you have made. 😕

That is if you believe the bumf on New boilers
I was going to say that our Potterton Apollo that was new when W and her ex bought the house in about '84, and is still going strong. (I moved into it in 93) And our gas consumption for it is less than any boiler I ever had in my 1928 style detached which is very similar to @DanClarke 's.
We put it down a lot to the massively better insulation in the house they bought, timberframe, Swedish design, etc. But our gas bills seem little different to anyone we know with a combi.

That's a heck of a lot of pressure. 1 to 1.5 bar is normal in the UK at your kitchen tap. Peeps who buy their white goods in the UK and then plumb them in in France sometimes have problems as, if there is no pressure reducer fitted from the main, it does them no good. It can be up to 7 bar here.

When we first moved in we had no electric and the water pipes all just came out of the floors or the walls, not capped at all, so to fill the loo and/or flush it, I fitted a watering hose to the main at the meter. When I triggered it it was like a fire hose!!

Plus the last thing you want to be doing is wasting it.

I did manage to get up early enough to clean out and restraw the hen hut. It was still in the shade by the time I had had brekker and did the job.
We then went of to Castres for the monthly big shop and a nice lunch.
Blinking hot it is/was.
Last night and the previous nights we had minor thunderstorms. So we had to put the Wifi box off.
Anyway, off out again tomoz to celebrate the day we met 35 years ago. Half my life time, where does the time go, eh?
Anyways, here's hoping we are all having fun and will continue to do so!
:):):):)

Sadly it isn't as easy as that, if it was plumbers wouldn't fit water pressure reducing valves.
I actually looked into how they work, in case ours here packs up.
tis all to do with a spring and a diaphragm.

Got a call from garage, service and belt changed on new car. Test drive lost coolant as the egr was leaking.

Are you kidding me.....

Original fl2 picked up and has a nice shiny rear end.
