Hello all. I am replacing the clutch on a TD5 discovery. Whats the best way to do this? I have a set of high ramps and a gearbox jack. Thanks
As recommended by the late great James Martin who did it professionally.I took mine out alone, gearbox and transfer seperately with this kind of motorcycle lift, normal jack and a lot of wood blocks.

To put it in I bought an engine crane and used it from drivers side (left) thru the lever hole and put it in as one.
.. did not have space on the passanger side (right) to do it that a way.
Many people say that once you have got that far it is false economy to not change it.Hello. I got the gearbox and clutch out. Not a hard job just a bit fiddly with lots to remove. I made the landrover tool from the manual to fit gearbox and fitted it to my gear box jack. Removed gearbox and transfer box as one. Clutch has had it but not sure about dual mass fly wheel. How should i check it to see if its bad? Cheers
