Range rover classic / P38 .
I Plan to build a RRC with a more powerfull engine 300+ hp and for that i need some approval papers to help me with the approval here en Denmark
if it has been done before i can use that as documentation. OVERFINCH did a lot of chevy V8 , with changes to the brakes and maybe other components. i need to find a decribtiopn of this changes .

I there anyone here that can help me ? or point me in the right direction.
there must be a filing cabinet at Landrover where all there papers are hiding , i just need to find the guy with the key for that kabinet ;-)

Wow, that sounds like an adventure dude, suspension, brakes and all kinds of but to deal with the extra power and stopping power.
You'll have to keep us updated with the info on how you get on and most of all, how this machine turns out and goes🫵😎👍

Thing OF did many things. I have standard brakes a little bit was done to the suspension.
But the full package available included big brakes and completey different suspension.

I have an Original OF sale broucher and the original original invoice for my P38 630R.

I can scan them and place here if they would be of any use.

that would be great if you could scan that !! here in Denmark we have a reg.papers that is the cars official documents , all changes ( bigger engine , other brakes .... ) will be added to the reg.paper so when you go to the MOT all changes will be shown. don't you have anything similar in the UK?

Ok will do.
The UK, no chuck anything you like in.
I had to chase DVLA (UK car reg people) to change the engine number/size on the documents because I need a numbers matching car to register it here in BG. OF didnt do it from new .

This is mine after changing.

Technically I think you are supposed to submit the car to a DVLA inspection but not many bother.

Ok this may have to be a few posts because of size. Ok maybe not :)

The invoices dont really say alot other than "fit the 630 pack"
But here anyway.

Think you will find the 630 was manly i the P38 the RRC mostly used the 570. But OF would put it in either if asked so there could be an original RRC 630r out there.

What a lovely read. I'd love to know how they get their GM engines to interface with the BECM.
