Since i reset the gearbox I've had much better mpg. The mpgometer was around 30mpg doing 25 miles on mixed A roads, 30-60

I fixed it ages ago so it under reads slightly instead of over reading massively

After doing my heater core orings it brought to light just how brittle my old centre dash piece is - pretty much crumbled putting back together, so I’ve been watching a few walnut dash parts on eBay and a seller sent out an offer, so now I have a nice walnut dash piece on the way.

I can't find the leak, it's very small, takes a year to drop from 35psi to 25psi.

New walnut centre dash is in - didn’t realise the cubby box wasn’t transferable so I’ve got a double din sized hole in there at the moment - as much as it’ll pain some of you I’m going to put a double din headunit in - the benefits of CarPlay are too great for me.

It’s also off to the local garage tomorrow for them to do a full pressure test to find this bloody AC leak and hopefully have some working AC before my 600 mile trip at the end of June.
