I know we're way off topic and I am sorry to correct you but, 'none' is short form for 'not one', which is singular. That's why we write 'none is', rather than 'none are'. In long hand 'none are' becomes 'not one are', which I trust you will accept is wrong, whereas 'not one is' is correct.
You aint been here long. Wait until you see how far off topic we can take it :)

oh, and btw, one (i.e. you) is mostly incorrect about lots of things P38.

I don't think I have made any factually inaccurate statements about my P38 but, members clearly do not like my factual account of my failure experiences. But, I think we've done that topic to death so, let's not go over than ground again. I don't have enough life left in me for another round of that entertainment. :)

You could be right but, there's no way to wind back the clock to prove either way. Despite all my problems, I would still rather own a P38 than a lot of other cars, especially as we're all being nudged to go electric, which I hate. They're just 'emission elsewhere' vehicles and will prove worthless because they're a serious fire hazard and uneconomic to maintain and repair.

Can we please move on to AG? I'm itching to discuss my theories on the button moon landings being faked

Hello. Me again wishing to provide an updated account of my air bag failure experience. At the risk of attracting pitchforks at dawn and threats of being burned at the stake for P38 heresy, I asked my local LR specialist to fit a coil pack from Terrafirma. Two things happened. 1) After 2K miles of trouble free motoring, i.e., no more suspension failure, I am happy to report I honestly can't tell the difference between the old and unreliable air bags and the Terrafirma coil pack. In my opinion, they're brilliant. 2) The annoying 'click, click, click' I would hear through the speakers has disappeared. I no longer fear hearing that really annoying 'whirl, wind, click, click click' noise through the speakers, which was all the more weird because I disconnected the power and speaker sockets from the back of the radio two years ago. So, my P38 is the most enjoyable and reliable car it should have been from the beginning and I'm a very happy P38 owner. I use my P38 most weekends and now go anywhere without worrying about whether the suspension is going to fail again at any time during the journey. You have never met my wife so none of you know what fear really means. :). Even though I do not understand the cause and effect between annoying speaker clicks and removing the air bags, I can state that the speaker clicks were either caused by the air bags or, or, or forcing the car into EAS Manual mode fixed the problem. OK, you can now get out your pitch forks. Cheers.

Well there's no connection between the radio and the eas module and no facility for the eas module to alter the driver other than by a message on the dash or different light combinations through the button. ๐Ÿ’ช

Yet more rubbish statements about cause & effect from you eh ?

If your head unit is disconnect, and the speaker amps are still active, then somebody has been messing with the wiring. It will let you down at some point, wherever you happen to be.

I have had years of trouble free motoring in my P38 on Arnott Gen 2 airbags and wade height is dead handy when the valley floods. It's all about maintenance, even springs can break as happened on my X19.
Don't worry, there are plenty of other things likely to go wrong on a P38.
