Please could I have your advice on the likely sale of my 2004 Discovery 2 TD5 ?
Its had a new galvanised chassis fitted three years ago and has done about 140K miles.
Just a ball park figure would be good ....

Thanks for pointing that out, it would have been helpful ! For its age its in average condition , no dents, some scratches but nothing major. I am at a watershed moment, as I can't find a reliable garage to repair the leaks and vibration issues associated with the ACE system. When it works , its great, as an ageing system though to get the high pressure isolator fitted, with an LR manufactured/spec, pipe , which isn't made by LR now, is impossible. I love driving the vehicle but to keep it on the road is taking up a lot of time and money. Its difficult to call it a day with the car though, hence reaching out for advice.

Thank you for your advice. I would like to keep it but I don't have unlimited funds and time, hence reaching out for advice. Apart from the ACE issues, which when it works is great, there are no other issues.

If it was me I'd take the pipe in question off and take it to a specialist pipe company, who would make one up for you for not much money. Using the same fittings.

You won't sell it for a decent price unless it is fixed anyway.

Yes I have done exactly that. Its circa £650 for the modified block, but installing and fitting new pipes .... its getting north of £1200. All facts to consider

Hoses, mine were about £20 each, my repair was less than a removal kit.

I think if you pay someone else to fix your car then running an old lr will get very, very expensive.
They only make sence, to me at least, If you will fix it yourself.

I regrated selling it the moment it was driven away, and still do.
