Hi, I have a small but important bit that has fallen off (or been stolen ) from my Defender. It a small panel at the bottom of the windscreen pillar on the drivers side ("A" Pillar Lower Trim).

Replacement part £65++ and then I need to get it sprayed which will probably cost £100

Does anyone know where I could get one second hand or if you have one I will pay handsomely for it.

What colour I hear you ask? Its the normalDefender green.

Welcome to landyzone regular team of chipmunks racing gayly. As for the second hand route I'd be very surprised if they're reaching the scrap shop yet. As this will be a trim part a new one only option. Colour should be a code for the parts replacement they be like for like I guess. Trim code number green red blue etc. hopefully a grown up will correct my booboo.

This'll be JLR's new take on the old wiper nut cap game. Every manufacturer deliberately sends one car out without the cap over the rear wiper arm nut. The owner of that car steals one from a similar model. Thus the baton is passed.

Buy part, buy official LR aerosol paint, paint part and refit it with a blob of silicone sealant to stop it falling off again.

play this game and go park next to the next one you see that is the same colour as yours.....

Push the A pillar trim back down so the black lines up with the scuttle panel and replace the missing piece at the top. Seriously though this must be a common problem as there are loads for sale on e-bay.
