D2 jacks on Ebay, maybe they work maybe they dont., bear in mind just because a jack goes up, in the photo, doesn't mean it will lift anything.

Son has the Merc jack and the original Ninety high lift type jack in his.
I am hoping not to get a puncture as I only have the Land Rover high lift thing which looks a bit risky at the best of times

Not really, I have three of them and they are to tall for most of the jobs I do, very very occasionally they do come in handy.
I saw this one for range rover https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296398111644? It looks like mine but oil is different. I don't know if they could have different physical size.

I THINK the jacks are the same, even the black ones in the Defender.
Seem to sell for silly money for a 2nd jack which might not work.
this seller seems a breaker, can ask them to test on a car.

Does it state in the advert it works?
If it does then turns out it doesn't work then you could claim your money back by reporting it to Ebay I guess.
