Hi Everyone. When I lock up my D2 the lights all fade out, but the rear interior light stays on, but very dimly? Is this normal?

Hi, no it's not normal, those lights have permannent live and get earth to come on so there must be corrosion or something in the cluster which "leaks" to earth

Thanks for the reply buddy. It helps me make sense of it. A previous owner has wired an led light in place of the original... I'm guessing his wiring has go a little short. I had to replace some of his wiring to the rear lights, and it was...shocking!

I wouldnt worry about it, as it will be only drawing micro amps, and would take years to drain your battery.

Some LED bulbs/fittings don't have the correct resistance, do the other interior lights have LEDs fitted?

Try putting a bulb out of a 'good' lamp & see what happens.

No, it's the one in the back only. The fitting is removed and replaced with an LED worklight

It does dim though... just not to zero
