Last night I lowered my drivers side window and the glass has come loose. I have not done anything yet so assume that the glass has come away from the runner. I can hear it operating when trying to raise or lower.

I don't recall seeing this issue in any thread before. So any hints and tips before I strip the door?

Plastic runner clip or even the rivest have popped out of the inner door frame

It's straight forward to strip. Door handle screws,
Inner door opening lever cover screw,
Plastic part back of door mirror(interior)
There is a screw behind there!! ,
Then pop the clips carefully all around the door card.
Be careful near the edge of the door card close to the armrest. It'll break there!

+1 on rivets. Same happened on mine couple of years back. Door card off 2 of rivets missing so 3rd loose , short screw with hex head into each hole, job done. Don't even bother riveting
