Good evening all,

My past name was Sharpe, had Landys for many years, but no longer have access to my old email to login in! Whoops.

Any how, background. Freelander 2 62 plate but pre reg for 2013 model. I have had a split manifold to intercooler pipe before and driven it in limp mode for a day or two until new pipe arrived, replaced, reset fault codes all good. However, pipe has gone again and I drove it home for about 1 1/2 hours in limp on motorway. Replaced pipe.

Now its going into limp mode straight away as hit 2K revs with fault codes P2263-21 and P2455-00. I did a forced regeneration of DPF but it literally goes into limp mode and when on motorway I was monitoring the DPF which was at 20.08 and increased to 21.2 whilst the forced regen was on. Im not sure what to do? Any suggestions welcome. Seems strange that DPF would come on when the car does alot of motorway mileage.

Many thanks
Alan

Perfect mate, found a hole at one end, not sure if I can cut off and extend pipe. Prob best to replace. Ive been on ebay and each time I type Freelander 2 DPF hose/pipe it comes up with metal ones? Any experience, are these an upgrade?

Cheers

sorry those are the attached bits, I misunderstood the video I just watched. Videos just watch say to replace with fuel line hose? Heard of this?

Any hose that is heat proof will work. Measure the pipes that the hose fits on, and get a hose that is slightly smaller. Silicone hose holds up to heat a bit better than ordinary rubber, but it can go slimy if it gets too hot.

Hi Alan
I have the exact same problem with my 2013 FL2 I have repalced all rubber intercooler pipes but as you say get it on the motorway it goes into restricted performance and when the engine is turned off goes back to normal.
My question is which pipe did you replace on dpf as i am not shore of the pipe you mean
thanks Rich

Hi Alan
Thought I had solved problem got under the car and there was no clip on one of the pipes so went out this morning bought and fitted 2 new petrol hose clips both rubber hoses in very good condition.Took it out exactly the same
So now going to try the intercooler as there is a little damage on the fins so tommorow out with the Fairy.
I am sure there is an air leak somewhere
Rich
