The irony of it all is, when I went to book it in I asked the owner if they were able/capable of testing it, he proceeded to tell me how he owned 1 for a while!

Dont waste your time.......go back to the garage that failed it and ask for an appeal form. His governor wont like the ministry poking around in his paperwork and procedures.

Yes I was going to do that on Monday, I’m not even going to the effort of chasing up landrover for a spec sheet now, they’ve got 1 last chance to pass it off then the form goes in and I get tested elsewhere

And if they do pass it do not go back again, you know they will find even the smallest thing to fail it on. They are probably that sort.

IMHO, NEVER take any LR to a "garage" where they want you to leave it with them for test ....
