my 06 2.2 freelander when i start it from cold it sounds like abearing is breaking down but when it gets warm it disapears ihave hada new crankshaft pully an trigger wheel fitted but still no better

Are you sure it’s not the starter sticking, and being wound up by the engine

If a manual, could it be the clutch release bearing? Noise should disappear when you press the clutch.
