Presumably, when you lift your foot off the clutch it tries to pull away? Otherwise, you wouldn't be getting load on to the engine to stop it? Which means the centre diff can't be in neutral? Is it stuck in gear with a snapped selector fork?
Don't take this the wrong way, but has it been parked up for a while
Might the handbrake be seized on or brake calipers seized on?
Gearbox could be jammed due to failed component.
Judging by your foot your not from up North, otherwise it would still be milk bottle white.

Ha, yeh it's been in the garage for a year whilst I strip back the chassis and treat with buzzweld. Before that it was probably in a ditch in a sheep field judging by the amount of mud I'v removed so far.
It did run and steer on a test in a farmer's field before buying and it rolled into the garage fine.
I'll disconnect the handbrake completely and see if any of the calipers have seized.

You should still be able to get it in to neutral though
Something like that. Or, the input shaft is toast. I'm guessing to be honest. Hopefully, one of the experts will read this soon!

its possible for box to be in 2 gears if selector pin pulls between the selector fork jaws, sometimes you can get it back right other times box needs to come apart
