Well I got round to doing the rollpins on the clutch arm today, so out came the transfer box and gearbox not to bad at all a lot easier than expected , punched what was left of the old pins (It had already been double pinned ) its now triple pinned.
now the question is how much play should there be on the flywheel I have a movement on six ring gear teeth is this fubared.

Bl**dy hell. Double roll-pins failed? It really is a crap design.

I cannot recall but Datatek had a DMF fail on a Transit (I think he said) and said it sounded terrible. Certainly when I do the clutch I'll be thinking of doing the DMF at the same time given the amount of work involved. Problem is, it seems to be hit and miss when they go. Some people's seem to last forever and others fail at 80k. Mine's on 140k + as far as I know and still seems OK.

Guess it depends on how heavy you are on the clutch and wether you ride it. When my pins went I replaced the clutch as well.

The whole lot or just the friction plate? When I got in there the friction plate looked brand new. I'm pretty certain the PO hadn't replaced the roll-pins when he did it.

I replaced the lot, mine is not a DMF/wheel. The old one looked worn on the pressure plate, the release bearing was ok and the friction plate was fine.
