We are wondering whether to sell it, or restore it and keep it as a PR tool. It all depends on what we might get for it as it is. The engine is pretty much perfect.
Ebay is an option but would like a rough idea what it might be worth?
Anything is only worth what someone will pay, guessing this with old and unusual vehicles is a bit of a waste of time. The market will decide, local paper, auto trader, lr mags, e-bay. The choice is yours, or all of them, see what offers you get.
What sort of engine does it have?, that is usually of interest to buyers!
Quite a specialized thing, only really of interest to someone who wants a camper or suchlike, I would think.
50k is a low mileage, but if the plate is any guide that is not the most sought after landy ever, not old enough to be very rare, or tax exempt, and that vintage has a bad rep. for metal quality.
I doubt if the designer of the cooling system would be thrilled to see the spare wheel mounted in front of the rad like that, but it probably wont have done much harm with light use in UK conditions.
