Hi guys I know it's been covered 1000 times before but having trouble with my p38.
It's suffered with an intermittent flat battery for a while now although I found it had a dead cell however with the old small battery with a dead cell it never asked for the Eka on jump start.
I bought one of those mega battery's a while back and I needed to enter the Eka when I physically disconnected the old dead one and put the new one on. Local dealer helped me out there.
Now it's still going flat over the space of
10 days 2 weeks or so which is obviously Something else. I've tried disconnecting the Ariel for the central locking but not helped much.
Anyway now trying to jump start and she just has Eka code
Lockout on the dash but it has that from connecting the jump
Leads. Tried entering the code and she won't take it just chirrups all the way through (I think that's wrong?)
So first question is why do I need to enter the Eka code now for a flat battery when I didn't before?
Second question is will the code lockout reset 30
Mins according to handbook with the bonnet open? And should I have re locked the drivers door?
She's on life support from the company van ATM... Free diesel and all that! But of course that means the bonnet is up. Moz is the man I believe if your free buddy would you kind giving me a quick ring on number removed
Cheers
Chris
