Was not the bearing.

The fu#king brake disc guard was slightly bent and rubbing.
Took a pipe to it, problem solved!

Will be removing all of them when I get home.

I am thinking, I have put over 20K miles on Pumkin since she arrived. I figure 50% or more were in the bush.
Would it make sense to change all of the wheel bearings as a precaution or just wait till they go bad?

IMO, don't fix it unless it's broke! Check them regularly of course, tighten / replace as required I reckon.

How do I check the wheel bearings?

Jack the wheel up and holding the top and bottom of the wheel try and move it and see if there's any play. On the rear wheels you can check for side to side play too.

Thats not the correct answer for front wheel bearings as any play could also be the top or more likely bottom swivel bearings worn.
Check as said, THEN get someone to hold footbrake on, if play gone its wheel bearings, if its still there its swivel assy

That noise is gone.

HOWEVER, since I put the muffler back on I am now hearing tyre noise. "wawawawawawa" that speeds up as she speeds up. I could not hear this with the straight pipe exhaust. I don't remember the tyres being that loud!

I read that bad bearing noise could be mistaken for tyre noise? This "wawawawa" sounds more like a howl than a roar AND all my wheels are solid with no play. So I am probly overthinking.
New bearings on order though, just in case.

Agreed ive just fitted the tinkens to mine dead nice they are to
Island 4x4 DA2381G the letter G being the important bit here 20 quid a corner plus vat, havent compared to paddocks etc?
Kit comes with every single little bit you need apart from the little shims under the circlip, corteco seal as well which are good.
