1. Does a snorkel serve any other purpose besides wading?

2. Any of you that have a snorkel mounted, have you had any trouble ripping it off if pushing through thick bush?

1. for us, not really, but they are of use in very dusty climates too, keeps the air intake a bit further from the dust.

2. not yet, but theres time but really depends n your definition of thick, if its that thick, id rather stop and trim it off if its going to do that much damage.
