Hi, I have now replaced the clutch slave, master and all the pipes and went to bleed it and the fluid in the master reservoir isn't going down or passing through the system. Have pumped it and primed it but nothing is coming out at the bleed nipple on the other end (yes it is open). Bought a pressure bleeding kit and tried that just now and all the fluid just poured out from the master cylinder. Does anyone have any suggestions as me landy has now been off the road for over a week

Clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor and stays as you would expect with no fluid

blocked or crimped pipe.fit new pipes...
or
check engine fitting hasnt crushed pipe...id start with that....

then flush cylinders
out and try again etc..

Take off pipe and make sure you can blow through it, check no blockage where pipe screws onto master and slave cylinder.
While pipe is off depress pedal and make sure fluid comes out of the master cylinder where pipe screws on. refit pipe and see if fluid comes out the other end of pipe when clutch pedal depressed.
If all that works then you have fluid to slave, reattach pipe to slave open bleed nipple and allow fluid to drain through. close nipple
You should now have a bit of pressure so bleed it and see if it works.

You might have to back bleed it to get it started. I had to when I did my master/slave.

Have you screwed the master cylinder push rod too far in or not far enough?

Check that there is free play on the master cylinder rod . If there isn't the center valve will be shut and fluid won't be able to pass from the res into The cylinder.

No its not britpart, I got others on purpose >.> we got a little trickle from the slave but nothing significant and nothing when push the peddle. the peddle moved the pushrod and all fine when the pedal cover taken off.

I think it might be down to the master cylinder rod, the new one doesn't have as much thread on it as the original so might be keeping the valve closed as you said causing the fluid from the pressure bleeding kit to be forced out. Will be putting original master back on tomorrow hopefully with better luck. All this hassle for bleeding a clutch!

Thanks for the tip guys, it was in fact that there was not enough travel in the master cylinder, even after adjustment so swapped it back for the old one and it bled right through with the pressure bleeder easy. Looks like my slave cylinder had been almost fooked since I bought the landy as the clutch is sensitive now I can barely drive it as not used to it like this I am sure I'll be fine after a couple of drives :crazy_driver:
