I'm aware of Project Mobility from various other LR based and 4x4 forums I belong to. I applaud anyone helping out our troops in any way they feel inclined. I haven't donated here as I do my bit elsewhere.
Something you may like to be aware of, Project Mobility will have absolutely nothing to do with anything that includes H4H for reasons I'm not fully aware of... rumours aside.
Also, after filming TG, a group split away from Project Mobility with this group being named Race 2 Recovery. R2R includes the lads in the Wildcat and it's Servicing team and has Ben Collins as a supporter. I understand (and am ready to be corrected here) that Project Mobility are expanding to include non Tri-service personnel.
The Convoy 4 Heroes committee approached both PM and R2R offering donations and asked if they would like to be involved in the C4H gathering next Easter. PM declined giving reasons thats it's because we support H4H. R2R are keen to get fully involved as they do support H4H along with Combat Stress charities.
I add this only as a note for you to know where your money is to be used. Personally I don't mind as these funds go to help people in need, it's just that I like to know who is being helped with my money and I thought you guys would appreciate that too.

Thanks Skynet. I was aware of the split to R2R, however as far as i'm aware its amicable and PM is supporting R2R.
As for the H4H and PM friction, its all rumours and speculation as you say.
So far we've reached over £300 so well done folks...and if anyones interested in North Devon, PM are looking for anyone that can spare a few hours on the landys, fixing, modding, cleaning etc! Free tea!

Mainly because the organisation that ran the charity giving 'portal' are under investigation by the Charities Commission.
