as the photo,to me it looks like a rub down,repair and paint job,so would not be put off buying a 110 like this,however someone else i spoke to whos had 110,s forever reckons its a roof off job to fix is this right?personally i would be worried more about the chassis and bulkhead

depends how bad the rust is


if its all the way through then roof off to replace or patch with weld and if not then rub down and repaint, look at redhands one

the roof off option is simple enough takes about an hr to get the roof off. you can prop it up so the capping ar easier to get to.

The problem is getting the cappings off. lots of rivets to drill out and the cappings are sealed to the body with tigerseal. use an hairdryer or similar to soften the sealant.

cheers redhand just seen how bad they had gone on your 110,have you still got that one? hows it coming along? propping the roof up dont seem that bad a job just get plenty of drill bits in first,think i could live with that if the bulkhead and chassis sound

Still got it. have got noo cappings to fit when I get round to fitting em.

That little bit of rust is nothing. very easy to fix.
You dont need to take the roof off just jack the sides up or if you have to take sides off completely but no need to take roof off.
