The idea there was to use a poll and then low range in the disco just to make sure I'm in control as I don't have a helper then once I'd run round a little either try it on the starter or drag it to the hill and attempt to bump start it under its own power

Might need to try and get a helper if its easier the other way



Don't plan on letting it stop either going to make sure my temp gauge is working and that its topped up with coolant first and fuel

Just thought V8 fans would like this (ignore the sound at the start, thats the doozal 90 that pulled it out)....
It demonstrates how bad rear wheel drive only is too (the front diff had broke..shortly followed by the rear lol)
Sounds good tho.....A classic case of me saying, it wont do that in rear only, and telling mate to attempt it whilst I film and laugh m head off!!
Was great fun.....

FFS evil you NEED a helper or it could go badly wrong, plus the man in the towed car is working hard to get the engine running!!

It's a 2 man job, end of. Please don't attempt it on your own, plus bump starting down a hill is handy but not as good as a tow cos with a tow you can keep on dragging it whilst its going a chuga chug chug a chuga chug chug whereas with a bump start it will just stop on the hill after you lift the clutch!

Just to warn you two what doc evil says and reality are very different things :doh:

If you look at the non starting v8 thread posted in the wrong forum you will see we are approaching the 1,000,000,000 page and all of us including jamesmartin and wammers have tried to help and spat dummies- we can only conclude that the guys and idiot :doh:
