When im reassembling my heater pipes tomorrow with new O rings fitted is its better to assemble using grease on before and after O rings or is using a type of good silicone sealer better ive some good black wurth stuff or is just plain grease better...

Hi Rob, just rub a little coolant on them to lube them up :)
 
Datatek..irishrover..rodntod,,,, cheers guys ive got a 30mm allen key bolt and the O rings and cleaned the pipes up etc all ready to reassemble later today just wondered about the lubrication lol...

Tell you what though getting the screw out what a job the head of that screw is soft as hell made of alloy hah ha never mind tiny turn left and right and wd40 and 2 hours later it was out touch and go like as the head was wearing right off, glad i had some good snap on screwdrivers like....

hey ho nowt is simple on these range rovers is it...
 
O rings done bit of a balls ache but done now better not bloody leak though if it do get it fired up.....
