try putting it into difflock and see if yu get drive .

you need to see if one prop is turning while in gear .,can you change through the gears without pressing clutch

if you can change gear without feeling box turning then clutch plate is most likely
can anyone help
i have stripped landy gear box and checked splines but they are ok also all gears work as in there is no damage in t/box everything moves freely
and it turns when landy on tick over in neutral as it should so that would say to me the lay shaft is ok !!!
i put into gear and release clutch nothing happens only a wearing /grinding
that goes if i depress clutch ? so this would say clutch working ok ? fluids ok and theres pressure at the pipe when pressure applied ?(it moves )
i have tried all hi/lo in all positions no joy even disconnected and done it by hand ?
as anyone got any ideas before i rip it out ?
clutch may have gone and still working to some extent ?
also it was running fine untill i had the handbrake/cable done and its only done 10 mile since before it went ! maybe fluke or may have something to do with it

clutch center broken away from plate can look okay till you really look ,to check for l/s you try in 4th
yes mate i think you are on the same lines just a pity theres no access hole to check fully !! what am i looking for when i try in 4th just a more fearse rumble mate ?

4th gear works if l/s shaft bust ,can you change gear with engine running not using clutch

i have had inspection covers off t/box and all seems to move and spline is driving cogs
props not free turning suggesting the no shafts broken so seems not the t/box
all gears select easy and as the should so gear box seems fine
all i can think of is the clutch center as gone ? it seems ok but i cant see in bell housing
to see so im just assuming ?

one or other mate (outward splines are rotating the cogs so must be a gearbox out job thanks
