hi, iam getting a clonk sound from the rear, oh er missus, when i go over sleeping policemen. iam thinkink A-frame ball joint? usually on the drop rather than the climbing up. have to go on two roads with the bloody things and iam getting pretty ****ed with the clonk every time i go over one.
any ideas???????

good way to test if its A frame ball joint is to put a long wheel brace or put a tube on a short 1 and put your full wieght on it (tightening it) and watch the axle if it twisted there is your problem

i had a problem that sounds the same. it was a number of two things. replace the A-frame ball joint. the other was the rear trailing arms. the bushed were gone and they were knocking as the arm sliding back an forth in the worn bush. just gram the arm an give it a good hard shake, you will hear a slight knock.

i replaced my bushes and it half fixed the problem till i replace the balljoint and now its nice an quiet
