Hi folks another newbie sorry , ive done a search but none the wiser , Ive a new spare tyre so i am buying another new one to match it up the other 2 are part worn not to bad say 2/3rds tread , Question do the new go on the rear or front in regards to diff wind up thanks .

1x new spare , 2x ok tread , 1x caput worn out , 1x low so will use as a spare . So the 2x ok tread go on F/R and 1x low spare 1x caput bin
so 1x new on F/R along with another new one to match and go on same axle F/R , Is that ok

Keep the new in the shed don't want to wear them out.

Ignore all the silly answers.

Put the new spare tyre on the spare wheel carrier at the rear and then put the old new spare on the bonnet. You may wish to affix them in a firm manner to prevent untoward occurrences.

keep my new spare tyres above my belt - hairy tread though, good in winter

Don't forget to fit your new tyres onto rims first, otherwise you'll find that they will tend to wobble about a bit on the hubs.
