need help finding woods you can drive through off road near Woburn sands/Woburn.got maps but cannot find it.anyone know it?sensible answers would help.

So was it you who left tyre tracks in one of our fields on thursday night/friday morning .

Drove Sandy Lane today.... drier than I had expected since it usualy gets great big puddles but still a nice revisit to the fun of last year!

drove sandy lane today.its a nice short byway.also did milbrook and thats quite muddy after all the rain and the center parks traffic.wheres the byway end?

It looks as if people have crossed the road there and no signs up to say you can't carry on.is that not part of the byway?

Do you mean were the byway comes out onto rectory rd on the bend, that is the end, however there is a track that goes into a wood which is not part of the byway (gamekeeper track don't go there).

Cheers, you'd think they would have a keep out sign.looks like people have gone up there.bit misleading.you must live nearby.do you go greenlaning.

Used to be a sign high up in a tree, used a lot by the keeper/guns and game cart.
Don't do much greenlaning now, to meany other things on the go.

Good to know.think vie seen your landy.you've got your name on rear wheel.thanks for all information.

That lane has little lanes heading off it at intervals all the way to the top. Some of those have been newly created by centreparcs to do with their new building up there... however none of those lanes are legal to drive... even the older ones are bridlepaths. Keep to the main lane and it is a lovely little drive. Ruts at one end but nothing too bad.
