need help finding woods you can drive through off road near Woburn sands/Woburn.got maps but cannot find it.anyone know it?sensible answers would help.

theres a few around there .also head over the otherside of the A5 around the hills and also over round markyate.

buy a os map.if you dare trust it

Theres a you tube video of the one I'd like to have a go on.got land ranger maps but can't find it.is it listed as a byway.thank you

It's on the herts threads somewhere so doubt whether I'll find it again.are you local to Woburn.maybe aspley Heath where it is.

might wanna check a peeps location before asking that ;)

if it was on the herts laning thread then thats prob the best place to ask. could be loads of woods in woburn and you could spend a while driving around looking for the right one if you dont know where to start

Oh FFS The byway at woburn is on the map! In fact BOTH of them are! The main one is a nice easy little sandy lane that gives a few challenges if you really want them but actually is a nice little drive of about 1/2 mile.
 
Lots of walkers... dog walkers and kids down there.... history of fly boys in their hatch toys havin' parties down there.... and no other lanes within about 1/2 hour driving time!

i reckon jacks idea of fitting my chainsaws to berthas bumper and lane clearing could be an option.:D
 
Sandy Lane gets last min TRO's in Summer it was closed one weekend for a bike rally I drove it the day before in the passat came back the next day and coppers were there topped me going down and showed me the TRO notice this was last summer mind
