OK - Here are the facts
1997 P38 HSE
Had the car two weeks
Pasenger side footwell bone dry until I get inyo it this morning - big puddle
Can feel wet on LH side of cover behind glove box

Where do I start - BTW run out of matches

Ahh - just read up on it in Rangerovers.net - pollen filter cover not seating correctly is the probable cause - and as I replaced the pollen filters last week......

have a look at your over flow pipes. they get blocked..

Just opened up the pollen filter cover - everything is soaking in there, I suspect the seal on the cover is not too sweet - just need to figure out the best way to replace the seal on the cover now.

Silicone sealant is your friend here.

Make sense I guess, and a lot easier to put on.

They tend to bow outwards over time leaving a void in the middle due to the way they are secured. Just get a heat gun warm them and reflex them back until there is a slight bow in the opposite direction let them cool then refit.
