Wasn't someone retrofitting one of these, possibly @Nodge68.
I know they're a bugger to get hold of.
Mike
I am, they are, it's a done deal! Offer of £25 accepted and it's on its way to me!
Cheers for the heads up on the ECU Gary ;)
The switch won't fit the facelift Freelander though. I can make the console swich fit however.

Email the seller, they might have the other bits and not thought of listing them.
Mike
I have done Mike.
I have a spare spot light switch which works as a CC master switch, except for the legend on the front being a spot symbol.
I need the steering wheel switches too. I have picked up a set of wheel switches from a Rover 75 with the intention of making them fit. I need to try them on a spare wheel before he hack mine about.
At least I have the ECU coming. :)

your very welcome , always nice to help as I know they don't come up often

I was lucky enough to buy a steering wheel complete with radio and cc paddles , inc the small green lead

know the paddles new are silly money

ref the master switch is it a small square one like the pre facelift models or completely different

The CC master switch on the facelift is the same size as the pre facelift console switch. (Some BMW models too) The only difference between early and later cars is the colour which is black instead of dark grey and the legend is a different, more modern symbol.
I missed them Gary, although I'd probably not pay £30 for something second hand when I can buy new for about £60.
Thanks for looking through.

I have a plan to fit Rover 75 controls, which I have a complete set of, sat in my workshop.

That will fit and work on the facelift.
The only difference between old and new is the colour and symbol.

I bought this switch and realised I needed the other type that fitted into the instrument panel

ur more than welcome to have this foc if it will be any good to u
