No drive. Td5 auto.

Please help. Driving along and heard a knocking coming from underneath the drivers seat and pulled over and looked under and all looked well. Then went to drive and lost all drive together...

Was able to move it momentarily in Low range but then that was brief and eventually lost drive.

No lights on dash. And starts up perfectly. But there is a high pitch creek when moving from drive back to park when engine was running...

Any suggestions? (Please don’t joke about getting a manual instead, heard that enough already )

Sounds like a problem in the tranny box.

not the gear box then ,could be t box ,prop or a diff,if in d with engine running does one prop turn or both stationary
