At least you know whats wrong and they are all doable just a bit of a pain both down at once I was in the same boat a few months ago then knuckled down and got the v8 back on the road and it was all worth it but I was very close to turning them into bean cans hope it works for you good luck

took the head off the auto this evening will take it to be skimmed tomorrow, some of the head bolts were loose. also somebody put the stator plate on wrong so i cant pin the crankshaft to time the engine so tomorrow its engine out to sort that.

head gone to be skimmed got new headbolts and ordered gaskett
