Hi,

We recently had coolant leaking, but that's been fixed. However we still get the warning message and the red triangle. Coolant level is fine. I assume it's a sensor/float problem. Here's the question, is there any way for the coolant level to look fine but coolant not going through relevant hoses? I.e. a blockage somewhere.

Thanks

.
the float inside the coolant bottle can sometimes fail, float absorbs the coolant requiring the entire thing to be changed

That’s if it’s a D3 or 4, will search for the part numbers in case the float is now available on its own

Hope that helps

Part number for a new expansion bottle , complete with float LR020367, believe many either get the MEYLE or BEHR seeing the genuine ones are around £116 instead of £60 for the MEYLE

Hope that helps

Hello everyone, quick question I'd low coolant, levels looked fine, replaced the sensor on the coolant expansion tank, after topping up etc, bled etc, still showing low coolant levels, do I need to replace the whole expansion tank... Thanks in advance I've disco 3 2007... j
