Dodgy MOT is pretty much the only way. I am on a motorhome forum and loads of people travel abroad for significant periods. You cannot get a valid MOT outside the UK.
I have just done the same repair. Could someone point me in the right direction of where to buy the gasket for the cover? I have no idea what it is called/ the part number?
Still at work and may struggle to get there. I ave already put next months date in works diary, so if I do miss this week I will defo be there next month.
Enjoy
I looked at motorrail last year for a bike trip. Wanted to get train t eastern europeand ride back. I think services are now limited and not very cheapeither
You can slide the gearbox back 6" and change the clutch- PROVIDED you do not have an overdrive fitted. If you do pop it of first then slide gearbox back. Did mine and is a straightforward job.
Changed all the ropes for bungee cord and hooks )about 6m of cord is enough) Hooking the tape of the sharks tooth I just use a blunt screwdriver and lever the tape over. Top of- 5 minutes, top back on 15 minutes
