Thanks for your reply. I have just been told that it is not a 300TDi but a 1995 300. Looking at the dash, the only difference I can see is that the heater vents are higher and it would mean changing the heater core as well. Would I be right or totally wrong?

Just bought a 1991 discovery with the old Range Rover style dashboard and wondered if a 300TDi dashboard could be fitted. A mate has an old 300TDi that caught fire, but the dash is perfect and he said I could have it if it would fit. Any advice?
