    Thanks for the input ,all. Spent last evening studing manual and found that seal rings between carb suction chamber and carb body were missing(prevoius owner getting creative !). Had seal kit handy ,so replaced the seals and now the full brute force of the V8 is there and problem has gone away.

    My 110 rolls like a pig in a corner - help

    Has similar problem with my '93 hardtop 110V8 with its anti roll bars in ,especially with loaded roofrack (nearly first one to do barrel roll in a Landy!) Fitted new springs and air bags in rear coil springs - now goes through mountain passes like a Ferrarri !
