Sold for £500 on eBay yesterday afternoon - disappointing after turning down a £575 bid a few days earlier but that’s what happens when you shake the dice and go to auction. One bidder only came in and took it for the starting price. Thanks for all the help one and all!

The Freelander is on eBay with reference 326150036739 if anybody interested going into the final day. Had an offer of over starting price that I have rejected and may live to regret. Fingers crossed.

Found the VIN - it was in the boot!

Looked online and it suggests bottom of windscreen but will check the options next time at car

Out of interest where is the VIN on the Freelander2 - looked for it when I took pictures but couldn’t find it?

Put it on this morning so will await the scammers!!!

Might try gumtree - I have a scrap offer on the table so that’s always the alternative.

Still no joy as yet from Marketplace or EBay - any other ideas whilst I’m waiting?

We’ve had it 10 years and yes we were lucky to get it off my sis in law at the price we did and they have regretted it since as have been through many cars since and had problem after problem.
