    Thanks to all for advice - decided to see if softening up rubber with blow torch and using a jemmy would work. It did - did not have to burn it deep. Just enough to give me some more movement and then lever it out. Not gassed (cough, splutter..)

    Correct in your assumption. Sadly the chassis bush is not a two piece polybush (wish it was) but the standard LR one piece rubber bush like these

    I am replacing the rear lower link chassis bushes on my Defender 110. Got the link out fine. The issue is that I cannot shift the chassis bush (the one that is the large bush with triangular mount) which is the standard rubber single piece item. I have got the bolts securing to the chassis mount...
