Been out for a quick blatt around town in the mini. :) It always makes me smile. Oil leak sorted it seems. :) Worried a bit about over-fuelling and bore-washing the engine, but hard to say without an AFR gauge fitted. Nearly time for afternoon Coffee. :D

...that a very enjoyable trike ride was had. Only 10 miles but the sun was blistering hot and the breeze was warm. Avg. Speed a mere 12.8MPH with a bit of assist. Smashing!

Several times. But it only appears after a run. I want to believe it's the rocker gasket, but I can't find any oil ABOVE the plug well so far.

I wondered, but I am always very careful, and I had the "leak" without pulling the stick.

It is a HIF44 SU carb. I am willing to believe it's the HG, but I cannot track the oil down from there so far. If it was a cracked head etc I would expect other symptoms too. No blue smoke or steam either, but the radiator was a bit low when I checked it yesterday so I suppose it is possible...
