Well the other panels are all fine so I think it is just the bonnet. It does look nice though (overall).

... A bit unhappy to find that the bonnet paintwork on the old P38 is a bit "rough". I had the car cleaned inside & out today and brought it home and the top on the bonnet is all gnarly and "pitted" feeling. :( There's "spots" on it too like the paint it discoloured. Ho Hum.

The P38. Because they couldn't charge a card they cancelled the policy and decline to write a "NEW" policy. If I had seen their e-mail and/or they had called the number they have on file for me all would have been resolved. It's their way of getting out of business they don't really want.

Well I never. :eek: LV insurance couldn't take the payment for this years insurance automatically (card on file was replaced) and now they say they cannot insure me at all because the car is "too old" and they do not want to insure it. Now, they always knew how old the car was and offered a...

There were 3 kids from the old gals marriage, so all assets go 3 ways (per stirpes). Wifey, bother-in-law and as her sister died some years ago her share goes to her 2 kids. So we would need to buy the other 2 branches of the family out (2/3 of 400) Better area (just off Nob-Hill so to speak)...

...that the old gals bunglehole has just been valued by an estate agent @ £400k. We will get 2 or 3 more valuations and start the probate process ASAP. Wifey has floated the possibility of buying it. :eek: That would cost us at least £267k. The place wants gutting and redoing top to bottom...

Morning All. :D Drugs seem to be working, the pain in the foot is greatly reduced already. :) The care & usage label on the drugs runs counter to the Drs instructions and warns of possible kidney damage. Dr. said take 1 tab 2..4 times a day until the symptoms cease. Label inside box said take...

Saw the Dr. Yes, it's gout. Meds prescribed and a lecture on lifestyle changes. NO Alcohol. No red meat or offal. Don't eat offal, never have. Alcohol is reduced by 2/3 already. I'm not giving up my Steak's.

We were talking about this on one of the forums the other day. Helpfully, youtube just served this up to me. It is on thaor engined Disco, but the P38 is essentially the same I think. Somewhere in the comments a chap with a P38 has made the following helpful observation..... "99 P38 4.6 COIL...

Instead of wasting money on a vanity project like HS2 they should have created a national water grid to even out the imbalances across the country and created more reservoirs and storage facilities.
