I have used black marine grade silicone on the same roof trim on my hard back , the trim doesn't flex as much as it did , dont like silicone as a rule but can recommend the marine grade .

Mine needs tarting up again , it's as if it's holding water , so rusting from the inside out , splitting , mot due aug :eek:

Hi all , just attempted to change my turbo boost control solenoid , read on here easy , 15 to 20 minutes , put car on ramps and could only get one arm in to it working on my side , so got the jack out and removed the wheel and found I could only get one hand to it , both bolts holding it were...

:hysterically_laughi hi the holes would of been put there to drain trapped water , and the lead is for part of the music system !

More evidence of how capable the freelander 1 is , in it's class oft road :)

Hi there , during all this did the engine management light come on ? Thinking of renewing my boost solenoid , as its slow from a start up a hill , but seems fine at speed ! No fault codes or management light showing .

Got a scangauge 2 last nov , no faults or impending faults , touch wood :D has any one had a fault code on theres , is it just a code , or do you get a description with the fault code ? The gauge side of it has been very useful :)

No , theres a steel rib that comes with the cover that fits into the 2 lugs inside the car :)

I missed the bull bar , but it would not have fitted mine , was yours the 54 plate with durham 4×4 net on the wheel cover ? And there was a nice Bowler at the show :)

Just shows you can not trust main dealer garages , not just land rover, they do as little as possible , say things have been done , when they have not , been there :mad:

As brack said above +1 , there were a few freelander 1s in the parking area , but nothing in the show for freelander enthusiasts :(

Had a good day in the sun , saw some BESPOKE defenders , nice price :D but very nice ,disappointed that none of the traders had freelander parts/accessories , and it was as if the freelander did not exist , and I had money to spend :(
