If you have access to a pillar drill or bench drill then it really will be easy...if using a hand drill then be prepared to use plenty of bits...start small and work up steadily or consider using screw in type stud extractor after heating up to loosen

The petrol should have more guts than my 2.25 diesel, and she quite happily plods along at 60 with the overdrive in (only non standard thing on mine is that she runs on 7.50x16 wheels rather than the bog standard SWB wheels).

can be a bit tricky to fit...but I found that putting them inside a plastic bag and dunking them for a few minutes in hot water to soften them up worked well then bedded them in using RTV silicone sealant and closed vents to hold them in until set

sorry to hijack this thread.... but what does the charging light actually tell me? sometimes I see mine come on in varying degrees of brightness as I am driving - normally just a very dull glow that disappears when I accelerate...should I be worried (to be honest I've just ignored it until now)?
