    Have got my ÉCU booked in with a company who disable the immobiliser for £50 . Hopefully that will be the end of the story :)

    AH that's interesting so do you think if I bypass the steering wheel column that this whole immobiliser issue might be solved? (IF my key is good)

    Interesting, but then I would need to reprogram the ECU to the car ? Would it not be easier to just reprogram the key? … also weirdly the steering wheel lock doesn’t seem to ever be on… can turn it whether car is on or off etc

    The garage has offered to bypass the immobiliser for 400 euros … not sure if that’s the best idea. Would prefer to sync the key properly

    Hi mate, thanks for the this, Sorry to be so stupid, but it’s connector 4 on the OBD, and then pin 32 on the ECU?

    Yes, welcome to my hell, haha,. I was thinking to pay a mechanic to come over with a more professional reader… but would that help?

    Good question, I don’t think so. I checked there was fuel going to the engine and there seemed to be; and at a high pressure, but honestly that probably means nothing. Might need to get someone in that has a proper professional code reader.

    Hey all, this is where I’m at… currently we’ve tested the lives on the ECu and cleaned the earthing around the engine. We’ve tested the wires from the ÉCU to the injectors and we seem to be getting power to the injectors, the fuel pumps are also working. I’m stumped, maybe I’m missing something...

    Great help thanks @Mark Piercy , this level of electrical maintenance is above and beyond me, I’m good with mechanics, not so much fuses and wires haha. Really hoping I can get this beauty going!!
